If you cannot make a class, workshop, boot camp or any party that you have reserved, we will issue a store refund plus a restocking fee for course materials.

Extreme Embroidery Levels 1-3
Level 1: Begin with the basics in this class we will paint and dye fabric to create a substrate on which to create texture and lay down a body of stitches. We will add a bit of bling with Angelina Fibers.
Level 2: In this class we will create a unique substrate using bond a web and Lutradur. We will then create dimension to our surface using stitches. NOTE: A sewing machine IS required for the Level 2 class.
Level 3: In this class we will create unique surfaces by mixing everything we’ve learned from levels one and two. We will use Lutradur, Tyvek, bond a web, felt, stitching and more to create unique works of art. A sewing machine IS required for the Level 3 class!
NOTE: For classes requiring a sewing machine students are REQUIRED to know how to use their machines. You do NOT need a special embroidery machine to take these classes, a standard machine with feed dogs that drop and a darning foot is all that is required.
Altered Books - Levels 1-3
No. 1: Beginning Altered Book Making - Students learn the basics of altered book making - students make a niche and how to add spaces, within a found book, for collage and ephemera items. Students also alter covers, spines and more in this class. This class is an excellent class for group parties!
No. 2: Drawers & Pop-Ups - Students learn how to make drawers, hidden sections, pop-ups and more within a found book.
No.3: Beyond Altered Books - Everything in courses Number 1 & 2 plus more! Image transfer techniques are explored as well as alternative covers, bindings and more. We will be dissecting found books and creating new books with the original materials. Definitely for the Adventurous crafter.
